Should light therapy be used before or after sport?Updated 2 years ago


For existing joint or neuromuscular pain and inflammation, we recommend using the device for 10 minutes (2x 5 minutes) 20-60 minutes before exercise to help prepare your injured joint/muscle for movement. The device will increase blood flow, improve range of motion and generally work as a warm-up.

Following this, use the device again for 2x5 minutes at the end of the day as soon as you “start relaxing”.

On a non-exercise day, try 10 minutes in the morning and again 10 minutes at the end of the day.

To optimally reduce delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) and muscle inflammation start treatment within 15 minutes of finishing training.
